Prasit’s is located in the heart of North Sydney CBD. The restaurant is well known by regular customers for it’s great food and reasonable prices.
It has been included in The Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide from the day the restaurant opened (way back in the late 1980’s at Erskineville) as one of the most outstanding Thai cuisine.
Known for it’s innovation by using fresh Australian ingredients and traditional Thai cooking technique.
Some of the dishes created by talented Prasit Prateeprasen (now retired) may years ago, still in the menu and still popular such as Lamb in Masaman Curry and Banana Flower/Blossom Salad.
Supachai Kongkham took over from Prasit some years ago and continue with such a talent of creating new dishes, never seen in other Thai restaurant. Look out for Black Board specials in our Pomegranate Thai in Balmain, popular with locals.
